Environmental Program
At Rockwell Collins, we believe that taking care of the environment is vital to our future and that doing so benefits our
communities and the people who live and work here. Our Green Communities Program is designed to help fund local projects and
programs that will positively impact the environment in the communities where we operate.
Eligible projects must result in improvement in the environmental condition of the community. Examples include conservation
of natural resources and raw materials, improvement of impacts on environmental media such as air, water and land, and restoration
or development of ecological habitats.
Only projects conducted or sponsored by 501(c)(3) organizations or public or government entities are eligible. If the organization
is a 501(c)(3), please provide the appropriate documentation. If the organization is a public entity (e.g., schools) or government
entity, please provide a completed W-9 form. The typical amount for awards will range from $500 to $2,500 each. Applications
are made available each year in January, with grant selection and awards announced on or about Earth Day.
