"Women are still underrepresented in engineering and technology, yet they have so much to offer," said Mattai. "The Global
Marathon provides young women with access to role models who have been successful in their fields and who are eager to share
their stories."
The Global Marathon, targeted to college-age and professional women, as well as young women in middle and high school, features
48 activities, including webcasts, live events, Internet chats, teleconferencing and pre-recorded sessions. All will be available
